The studio
A small studio,
slow on purpose.
Bandhan was founded in a one-room studio in Mehrauli — a single lens, a borrowed monitor, and an obsession with the seconds most photographers miss.
Eight years on, we are still small by choice. We take on twelve to eighteen weddings a year, so every film carries the studio's full attention — from the first call to the bound album.
Our work has been featured in Vogue Wedding, Brides Today and on the festival circuit. But our truest measure is the number of fathers who write back after the vidaai.

We listen first.
Before any frame, an evening with you over coffee — what your wedding sounds like, smells like, is afraid of forgetting.

We film quietly.
Two to four shooters, soft lenses, no flash spillover. Your guests should forget we are there. Often they do.

We edit slowly.
An average film takes 240 hours in post. We grade for skin, for jewellery, for the way Indian light behaves at dusk.
Founder
Ishaan Mehra.
Ishaan trained in cinematography at FTII Pune, assisted on two Aanand L. Rai sets, and shot his first wedding in 2017 — a Punjabi-Tamil union in his own family. He hasn't put the camera down since.
